The new business of fractional sailing that has become so popular in the past few years solves a lot of issues for people who don.t want to get involved in owning their own boat.

The decision was an easy one as
we were familiar with the various
expenses of owning a small powerboat
- fuel, slip, insurance, maintenance,
etc. For less than the slip fee
alone we were able to have a 32-
foot new sailboat almost anytime
we wanted. We are allowed a minimum
of seven times out each month
with the option of many more on
an "as available" short-term basis.
