Commander
For intermediate level sailors
Once you are qualified as a SailTime
Skipper or have proven a basic level
of knowledge and experience you
can join Level 2.
At this level you will:

Practice practical
skills, multiple time on a
SailTime boat |

Progress to the next level
in theory training |
 |

Achieve coastal cruising
and bareboat charter certification |
 |

Learn to operate the boat
in various wind conditions,
anchor and spend the night
on the boat several times
and be totally competent in
maneuvering the boat in high
wind conditions. |

Qualify as SailTime
Commander |

Captain
For experienced sailors
When you are ready for the final
level you can join our Captain's
Program.
Before you graduate you will:

Achieve Coastal
Navigation Certification and
have extensive practical sailing
skills |

Have taken the boat into
unfamiliar ports and used
different types of mooring
and docking methods |
 |
| • |
Understand the weather by
looking at forecasts and cloud
conditions |
 |

Have completed one Mediterranean,
South Pacific or Caribbean
Charter through our Bonga
Bonga Graduation Week. |

Qualify as SailTime
Captain |
