A SailTime SKIPPER
has at a minimum:

Become a Member of
SailTime |

Achieved a recognized sailing
training certification from ASA,
US Sailing, CYA or RYA in Basic
boat operation |

30 hours of boating command experience
which includes 10 hours in a boat
within 10 feet of the SailTime boat
you are joining |

Completed the online boat systems
and safety training course offered
to SailTime Members |
 |

Completed the online training
of local hazards and conditions
course offered to SailTime Members
in each local area |
 |

Passed a boating practical competency
test administered by the local SailTime
Base Owner which includes the basics
of basic power boating. Additional
instruction may be required |

A SailTime COMMANDER
has
at a minimum:

cruising and bareboat chartering |

Logged at least 20 trips on a
SailTime boat using the proprietary
E-ttendant electronic check-on and
check-off system |

Completed multiple practical power
boating experiences listed below
on a 30 foot power boat or larger |
