How Your Sailing Club Membership Works
You as a “Member” will select a particular sailboat to operate, based on size, price, and availability. You will use the same boat every time as if it were your own. In fact, many members refer to their assigned boat as “my boat,” which means they are familiar with it and take better care of it than they might in a typical bareboat charter arrangement.

It has no long term commitment and costs less than owning your own sailboat. You just sign up for the sailing season with benefits of SailTime Plus for a whole year. SailTime is a premier sailing club with new sailboats in the 33+ foot range.
Having a sailing club membership is the perfect way to get on the water without ownership requirements. With SailTime, there is absolutely no ownership obligations; you will never have to worry about storage in the winter, launching in the spring, or any other maintenance associated with the boats, all for less than the cost of maintaining a sailboat. When you sign up for the season with SailTime Door County you also receive the benefits of SailTime Plus. SailTime functions a lot like a sailing club with sailboats from both 33 to 38 feet.
Guaranteed Monthly Usage
SailTime offers guaranteed access to your sailboat every month with your membership. You can make reservations online up to one year in advance and can book additional free “as-available” sail times using your smartphone. “Classic” SailTime memberships allow a minimum of 7 sail times per month and can get additional free sail times when reservations are made within 36 hours of the start time. “Lite” memberships get 3 sail times per month and “Premium” memberships get 14 sail times per month. Premium members can take the boat for up to 7 continuous days and nights. With SailTime PLUS, members can also rent boats at other SailTime locations at a mere fraction of the cost of regular bareboat chartering.
