Kingfisher Joins the Fleet at Miami Base

SailTime Miami took delivery of the first powerboat in its fleet last week.  In fact, it’s the first Rinker powerboat added in the entire nationwide SailTime fleet.  Rinker is SailTime’s new North American powerboat manufacturing partner.

The boat is a Rinker 310, named Kingfisher.  The boat owner, Arjun “AJ” Saluja, claims that he doesn’t like fishing, but named it in honor of his favorite brand of beer.

AJ, Ginny Estape, and Miami base owner, Capt. Jim Brinckerhoff took delivery of Kingfisher Saturday morning.  They drove the boat from Ft. Lauderdale to Pinecrest, FL where it will be kept at a private slip.

The 310 is a very versatile boat.  Its large cockpit is great for entertaining a group for a day on Biscayne Bay or for a cruise on the Miami River.  And the cabin is spacious enough for 5 people to comfortably stay aboard overnight.  The aft lounge offers sitting, reclining and laying-out positions.  Slide out its optional filler to create a cockpit sun pad in the European style.  Or swivel the helm bench to face aft, and you’ve created a conversation pit.  And the full enclosure canvas means you can party despite the weather.

Kingfisher will be used exclusively for captained and bareboat charter out of Dinner Key Marina.”
