Located in the heart of San Diego’s Big Bay, SailTime San Diego is based at Harbor Island West Marina and from here we offer ASA sailing lessons on our fleet of new Hunter sailboats. If you have never sailed before this is the place to start right. If you have experience, we can pick up where you left off to round out your sail training.
One of the most popular programs here are our learn to sail vacations on the water. Live aboard and take our five day class where we can certify you through to the ASA 104 level. If you are flying in we will pick you up from the airport, provide bedding and all you have to do is sail. The boat will be ready when you are. With this certification you will be well on your way to chartering the Caribbean, the Med or your local waterways. Complete the class successfully and sail a 6th day on us – no charge!
For locals and those who cannot take a full week off, we will schedule classes around your preferred dates. Take a combination of classes, ASA 101/103 (3 days) or the ASA 103/104 class; a 4 day lesson plan that includes the experience of a night at anchor for more advanced sailors. These classes are popular with those sailors looking to join our SailTime membership sailing program.
