Sailors in the Los Angeles region are invited to come down to the Channel Islands Harbor for the annual Ventura County Boat Show, July 15-18. The show offers Free admission on Thursday, July 15 when the show is open from noon to 7pm. Then on Friday, July 16th it’s Dollar Day with $1 admission, $1 hot dogs and $1 beers or soft drinks when the show is open again from noon to 7pm. The show is open on Saturday from 10am to 7pm and again on Sunday, for the last day, from 10am to 5pm.
SailTime Channel Islands will be showing a Hunter 36 from its’ fleet at the show. You are welcome to climb aboard, check it out from stem to stern and learn more about the SailTime sailing club program in Southern California.
The Ventura County SailTime base is offering an incredible show special of a $599 joining fee which includes ASA101 lessons for new sailors or a complete ASA101/103 challenge course for old salts to easily get certified.
