Learn to Sail at Annapolis

SailTime Annapolis is happy to announce the grand opening of its new American Sailing Association sailing school.  The new Annapolis sailing school is currently offering Basic keelboat, Basic Coastal Cruising, Bareboat Chartering, and Coastal Navigation classes.  (ASA 101-105).

Annapskool

The Basic Keelboat course is taught on a Colgate 26 at our Annapolis sailing center.  The Colgate was designed and purpose-built with learning, teaching, safety, and performance in mind.  With three days on the water and a maximum of three students per class, you can be sure that you will get plenty of time at the helm.  Don’t know what helm is?  Don’t worry , all of our instructors have USCG captains licenses and ASA sailing instructor certifications. Our instructors are professionals that will be able to answer all of your sailing questions and are friendly and caring educators.

After completing ASA 101, your next sailing lesson at the Annapolis facility is Basic Coastal Cruising (ASA 103). This training will have you sailing the Chesapeake on one of our late model Hunters.  We have a Hunter 33, 36, 38, and 41 in our SailTime Annapolis Fleet.  Upon completion of your ASA 103 class you will be qualified to become a SailTime Annapolis Member and be able to sail one of these boats, seven or more times per month.   If you are just thinking about trying sailing or have been sailing for years, there is always something new to learn and a sailing course from SailTime Annapolis can help you become the sailor you dream of becoming.
