How the SailTime Sailing Club Membership Works
SailTime sailing club membership gives you the experience of having your own sailboat, without the expense, maintenance, and responsibilities that come with traditional boat ownership. As a member, you select a specific boat based on the size, features, membership level, and availability that best fit your sailing lifestyle. That boat becomes your home on the water, and you’ll sail the same yacht each time you head out.
Over time, you’ll become familiar with every detail of the boat, from how she handles under sail to where everything is stored aboard. It’s why you’ll often hear SailTime members naturally referring to their assigned yacht as “my boat.” That sense of familiarity creates greater confidence, comfort, and pride of use while SailTime takes care of the management and maintenance behind the scenes.

What SailTime Offers
Easy, Hassle-Free Sailing in the Puget Sound
Each boat has a maximum of eight equivalent “Classic” memberships, ensuring available sailing time is shared fairly among members throughout each month. With SailTime’s convenient web-based calendar, you can easily reserve the days and times that work best for your schedule, giving you the flexibility to plan an afternoon sail, a full day on the water, or your next Pacific Northwest adventure.
When it’s time to sail, your boat will be waiting for you at the marina. Before leaving the dock, you’ll complete a straightforward inspection using SailTime’s automated “Embark” system to confirm everything is ready for your outing. Then cast off and enjoy your time on the water. When you return, simply remove your personal gear and food, give the boat a quick wipe-down, and leave her tidy and ready for the next member to enjoy.
EXCLUSIVE ACCESS
Guaranteed Monthly Usage
Sail more often, plan farther ahead, and choose the membership level that fits the way you want to enjoy the water. SailTime gives you guaranteed access to your boat every month, with the freedom to reserve sailing time online up to a year in advance. And when the urge to sail strikes, you can use your smartphone to grab additional complimentary “as-available” sailing time.
Classic Memberships offer a minimum of seven sail times each month, plus opportunities for additional free sailing when you reserve within 36 hours of the start time. Lite Membership provides three sail times per month for those who want a lighter commitment, while Premium Membership delivers 14 monthly sail times and the freedom to enjoy extended adventures of up to seven continuous days and nights.
Your sailling club membership can take you beyond Anacortes, too. With SailTime PLUS, members can rent boats at participating SailTime locations for a fraction of the cost of traditional bareboat chartering—giving you more opportunities to sail, explore new waters, and make boating part of your travels.

Seasonal (Annual) Memberships
One of the best things about sailing from Anacortes is that the adventure doesn’t have to end when summer does. SailTime Anacortes operates year-round, giving members the opportunity to experience the changing seasons, quieter waterways/anchorages, spectacular scenery, and some of the finest sailing the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Membership agreements are structured as annual contracts, but you can join at any time during the year and enjoy a full 12 months of sailing from your start date. That means there’s no need to wait for the beginning of a traditional boating season. Your time on the water can start when you’re ready.
Choose the sailing club membership level that fits your lifestyle, reserve your time, and make sailing a regular part of your life instead of something you only manage to do occasionally. Members who choose to pay for their full year in advance can also take advantage of significant savings.
More time sailing. More days exploring Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. And none of the headaches that come with owning and maintaining a boat yourself.

In addition to the cruising sailboats, we also have several new Beneteau/ASA First 22 daysailers, which are used for basic training and are now available for seasonal memberships as well.
