Reciprocal Sailing Privileges

In addition to having sailing access at any US and International SailTime base, only SailTime Detroit Owner-Members can enjoy a discount chartering a yacht from Great Lakes Sailing Co. in Traverse City, Mi.  Imagine;  shorter sailing trips closer to home in the Detroit area, extended cruising  the islands, bays and harbor towns of Northern Lower Michigan, then head south and sail in warmer climates in the winter.

Become an Owner-Member and SailTime Detroit will

  • Allow only responsible, well trained, qualified Members to sail your boat. We’re not like a charter. Members take pride in ownership as well. Just ask any of our current boat owners
  • Clean and maintain your boat weekly
  • Handle emergency issues and remain on-call 24 hours a day during the season
  • Winterize, store, and commission your yacht each season
  • Provide assistance with finding a boat loan.
  • Our proprietary software handles all aspects of scheduling and member management
