Virginia Beach Update

The sailing base added three new boats this year and as of this writing, you will find three memberships available on a beautiful new 2013 Hunter 33 named “Nautigal,” one membership on the beautiful blue-hulled Hunter 36, “Blue Moon,” shown above, and three memberships on their newest acquisition, a unique electrically powered Hunter E36, “Mojito.” SailTime Virginia Beach offers a number of social mixers for members to get to know each other and enjoy the sailing lifestyle with. This year alone, the base has had shrimp boils, a group bay clean up effort, christening parties for the newly arriving yachts, and Gemini catamaran demo sails to get everyone excited about one of those joining the fleet. Of special interest was the Women’s Only sailing courses that were offered and well attended. Once the boats in the fleet here have spent their contracted time under our care, the base sells them on the open market if the owner chooses. These boats are meticulously maintained and cleaned so that the new owners who purchase them get more than just a good deal! The base currently has a 2005 Hunter 33 and a 2006 Hunter 36 for sale. SailTime Virginia Beach was one of our very first bases in our worldwide network. You’ll find a well run operation, full of happy members and boat owners as well as one of the top ASA sailing schools in the nation all here!
