Antigua Flotilla Set for November 2010

What could be better than a week of sailing at fabled Antigua in the West indies of the Caribbean? That would be sailing for ten days instead! Even better, we are sailing for 10 and only paying for seven. That equates to an ideal tropical deal. Members will gather on the island known for its long running Sailing Week from November 3-12, 2010.

We’ll sail all around the island and make a crossing over to Barbuda, her sister island during the week. Known for its great sailing conditions, Antigua also boats 365 beaches; one for every day of the year. There will be visits to beach bars, idyllic out-of-the-way anchorages, great snorkeling and good times all around.

Members who are qualified to the ASA 105 level and have either been on a flotilla with us to the BVI or chartered in a foreign land on their own before are welcome to join in. Space is extremely limited as we are only going with a maximum of 5 boats to keep the experience intimate. With three boats already signed up, time is running out. To get more information, contact the flotilla admiral at [email protected] – the event is being hosted by the SailTime Channel Islands sailing club of Southern California.
