For sailors, one way to pass the Winter months is by attending a boat show near you, or by turning it into a mini vacation getaway. Doesn’t a long weekend in Miami or San Diego or San Francisco sound inviting right about now? But if you are in cold country and can’t get away there is a plethora of indoor exhibitions that will warm you up!
January is a very busy month for our bases who have boat shows to participate in. We love boat shows because it gives us a chance to get out and meet people like you, excited about the sailing lifestyle and dreaming of fair winds and following seas. Here is a rundown of where you will find us:
Providence, Rhode Island – January 7-10 – Rhode Island Convention Center: Come meet the folks from our Bristol, RI base. This is our newest base in the country located in one of the top sailing harbors of the East Coast. Learn about Sailing Memberships, Lessons and how to become an Owner Member.
Houston, Texas – January 8-17 – Reliant Center – Our largest base in the country is on hand to show you all about their power and sail programs as well as sailing lessons. This base also just became the Hunter Dealer for the region so there is bound to be a lot of excitement going on at booth 372!
Toronto, Ontario – January 9-17 – Direct Energy Centre – Come on out to learn more about the power and sail boat programs offered by SailTime Greater Toronto Area at booth 1738A
Chicago, Illinois – January 28-31 – Navy Pier – Once again our Chicago base which features two locations for Chicagoland sailors will be out in force at this perennial sailboat only show.
San Diego, California – January 28-31 – Sunroad Resort Marina – The first inwater boat show of the year kicks off in sunny California where our San Diego base will be showing one of their boats and greeting sailors who want to learn about the easiest way to get on the water in Southern California’s sailing capital including lessons and memberships.
Miami, Florida – Feb 11-15 – Sea Isle Marina – This sailboat only show is a favorite fly-in show for those on the east coast who have not moved here yet. Our Miami base will be out to meet and greet attendees as well as showing how our unique program matches the South Florida lifestyle
Oakland, California – April 15-18 – Jack London Square – The Strictly Sail shows wrap up in Oakland with a big party at Jack London Square on the Oakland waterfront. Sailors from throughout the west descend on this pre-eminent showcase and our San Francisco Bay base will be there to tell you all about lessons and memberships.
