SailTime Milwaukee is SailTime’s newest ASA Sailing School. The school is now offering ASA 101, Basic Keelboat, through ASA 106, Advanced Coastal Cruising. The sailing school can teach students who have never stepped aboard a boat through more seasoned sailors looking to cruise Lake Michigan.
All class sizes are a maximum of 2-3 sailing students. This allows for significant behind the helm time for everyone in the class. A popular addition to ASA’s curriculum is ASA 118 Docking Endorsement. This class provides methods and practice in an area of boating that even makes accomplished sailors nervous from time to time. The primary instructor at the Millwaukee Sailing School, Captain Jim, has been sailing for more than 25 years and has been training others to sail for over 6 years. Captain Stewart has a 50-ton master’s license and is certified to teach ASA 101 through ASA 106. Contact the Milwaukee base for additional information.
