The new year kicks into high gear for sailors who will find us at three boat shows across the country this month! The sailing season may be months of cold weather away or maybe you are lucky enough to live in an area where the sailing never stops.
We kick off our boat shows this year in Portland, Oregon. Passion Yachts operates this new SailTime franchise there. Go to the Passion Yachts booth at the Portland Expo Center from Wednesday, January 7th, through Sunday January 11th to learn how you can enjoy the lifestyle at a fraction of the price you thought it would cost! To sweeten the deal, SailTime Portland is offering a 25% discount on joining fees when you sign up at the show.
If you’ve always wanted to sail big boats but have never found the way, our bases are also American Sailing Association certified sailing schools. Some of the best trained sailors you’ll find on the water are SailTime Members! In cities like Portland and San Francisco, you can go to the show one day and get started on one of our new cruising yachts the next day!
Chicago sailors will have to wait until Spring though. But water-born fever will be hitting McCormick Place, January 14-18, when the long running Strictly Sail show teams up with the big power boat show (and RV’s) to gather all Midwest outdoor enthusiasts in one place! This year you’ll find SailTime Chicago at Booth 4112, next to ASA. SailTime Milwaukee will also be on hand as they are just up the road a piece and many Wisconsin boaters will head for Chi-town to get their 2015 sailing stoke. Unlike year around bases, you have to act in the winter months to gain a Membership with our popular program at seasonal bases and the show is the place to make your plans. Chicago is one of our biggest sailing bases in the entire system. They offer two locations, lots of boats and at the show, you can snag a deal on lessons! We hope to have a huge surprise for you not to miss at the Chicago Boat Show this year!
The last stop on our January 2015 show schedule is the annual in-water show in downtown San Francisco at Pier 48. The show runs from January 22-25, 2015. Captain Lisa also has a big surprise that Bay Area sailors are going to love announced at the show this year as well as some sweet deals to get you on the water right now! New this year; SailTime San Francisco Bay will be taking reservations at the show for demo sails to get potential Members and new boat Owners out on the water, planned for the following weekend of January 30 & 31.
We’ll see you at the shows! Stop by and say hi!
